I am surmizing that every 40 years starting with Washington , a great would be president emerges.
1780 Wahington
1820 Monroe
1860 Lincoln
1900 T Roosevelt
1940 Eisenhower
1980 Reagan
2020 Trump
Some may argue that Washington was not President in 1780, nor was Ike in 1940, etc. But I said “emerging”.
Collective REASONING, not collective GOVERNING, is crucial to human existence. Look how long it took humanity to recognize and agree that the earth recycles around the sun every 365 days. Or how long it took humanity to agree the earth is round.
40 years does seem to be a key recycling point. The question is
